Deeply Superficial

"I am a deeply superficial person!", Andy Warhol.

Sometimes images are just that: superficial representations. And sometimes they are more. Just like Rene Magritte’s « Ceci n’est pas une pipe » they may be more than a simple representation of a subject. They can bring you to an entirely new universe, in a place or in a state of mind that will make you reconsider accepted truths, make you step away from reality and a daily life that is all too dull.

Sometimes images become art and actually lead you to a path less traveled and yet more fulfilling.

Sometimes images are deeply superficial... and sometimes they are anything but.
